Monday Motivation – Aug. 31: Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going. ~Jim Ryun
Have you ever been inspired and motivated to make a change in your life, but cannot seem to find the time to take action? Have you ever caught yourself saying “If I only had the time, I would…”?
Today I challenge you to TAKE ACTION! Whether you are motivated to keep your house organized, go on a diet, or spend more time with your family. Here are a few tips to help you get started:
1) Write down your goal and put it in a place where you can see it every day.
2) If you need support, tell your spouse and friends you goal. Especially if your goal is a life change, it is important to get support from family and friends.
3) Look at your schedule. No matter what, you only have 24 hours in a day and only 7 days in a week. Schedule time on your calendar to devote to your goal.
It takes approximately 30 to 45 days to establish a new habit. Once you have mastered your new habit into your routine, set a new goal! You will be amazed at what you can accomplish if you put your mind to it!
Best of luck! Michelle Harman

SaleHOP.com reaching out to help Chambers of Commerce
SaleHOP.com reaches out to offer help and support to local Chambers of Commerce across the USA. Their goal is to educate and inform local communities and businesses on how to connect their local resident shoppers with sales or events occurring in their community. The concept is to stimulate and support local businesses while helping shoppers to find what they need at an affordable price. It is a win-win for everyone.
Using a combination of technology and common sense, SaleHOP.com offers a user friendly interface that will attract shoppers, while on the backend it offers the latest marketing and networking components for sellers who may not be “techies” but need an affordable, user friendly way to promote their business. A few tools include:
Follow Us: At the POS, store owners can give their customers “Follow Us at SaleHOP.com” cards. Send Invitations: Stores can invite their existing customers and new followers by sending a custom invitation that invites shoppers to view their listing on SaleHOP. Groups: Chambers of Commerce can form their own member groups and promote their groups to the community.
“These are key components for stores to grow their own following and attract new customers who are interested in receiving emails about future sales.” said Michelle Harman, CEO and Founder at SaleHOP. ”In a tough economy, it is the local retailers who need a better way to sell, and we think we have created the ideal solution.”
Beginning May 25, 2009, SaleHOP.com will revolutionize the way shoppers see “what is going on” near them and how stores can communicate with them.
Any Chambers of Commerce or Small Retail Store can contact SaleHOP.com at: contactus@salehop.com for more information.

SaleHOP.com, Garage Sale Search Engine, Coming Soon
Using a combination of technology and common sense, SaleHOP.com takes the guesswork out of finding items at garage sales, yard sales, moving sales, or estate sales. SaleHOP.com is a specially designed search engine that invites sellers to create listings on the site which shoppers can then search.
A SaleHop.com listing provides much more than the 50 words available in a newspaper classified advertisement, and for less cost! Sellers can advertise their sales up to 30 days in advance, choose categories, print out flyers and signs, and even post photos of special items for sale.
Shoppers then use the system to search for local listings of garage sales and create route maps from sale to sale. No more wasting gas driving from sale to sale only to discover that the items for sale are not what they were searching for.
Beginning May 25, 2009, SaleHOP.com will revolutionize the way shoppers see “what is going on” near them.
